We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to generate and qualify leads for our sales team through outbound prospecting efforts. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for sales. While previous experience in software sales, CRM sales, marketing sales, and proficiency in Excel are preferred, they are not mandatory. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Job would be remote after training.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation processes and strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly quotas for qualified lead generation.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their needs and pain points, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services.

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with software sales, CRM sales, or marketing sales is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting is an advantage.
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
